“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast! I will sing and make melody! Awake, my glory! Awake, O harp and lyre! I will awake the dawn! Today I head out with a small group of St. Philip’s lay leadership for some advanced training in service of the church. This is the third installment of our participation with the Doxology program. In the previous two sessions I have rejoiced in the teaching and worship at Doxology; of special note is the sanctified and creative use of various instruments by the cantor and those who have assisted him. I look forward to sharing these gifts of the Church with my lay leaders!
