Reading “Crisis on the Horizon” by Ken Fleck

Crisis on the Horizon A friend gifted me a copy of estate attorney Ken Fleck’s book, Crisis on the Horizon: How to Rescue Your Ministry From Financial Meltdown (2009, Faith Endowment Institute, Cedarburg, WI). I am trying to set aside a little time each day to read. I will post key quotation here and link to them by Twitter (theMOSAICcomm) and Facebook.

Note: I have not yet read this book. I am posting questions and comments as I read, so the fact that I am quoting from the book should not, necessarily, imply a full endorsement.

From the “Introduction”:

“It is not contradictory for us to recognize that a serious problem exists [in church finances] while still acknowledging God’s power to enable His people to triumph in the face of seemingly insurmountable dangers.” (xiv)

Amen to that.
